No Limits Racing 2025 – Round 5

anglesey  | 19 july – 20 july 2025
Rider: Tommi | Team: DART Motorsport

Round 5: New Track, Hard Battles, and a Brutal End.

This past weekend saw us take on Anglesey Circuit with No Limits Racing. Another new track for me and a long eight-hour haul to get there.

Thursday arrival gave us a first look at the place, and Friday’s test sessions were solid. I got my head around the layout and found some pace, but with all the tight twists and stop-start corners, I knew it wasn’t exactly my kind of track.

Quali –
Quali felt busy. Only managed one clean lap without traffic, when I saw a low 1:11 on the dash I came in early, saving the tyre. That lap was enough for P4 on the grid for Race 1..

Race 1 –
I like the short run into Turn 1 at Anglesey, it kept me with the lead group early on. Pulled a bit of a gap from the rider behind and focused on keeping things tidy. Brought it home in 4th, happy enough with that.

Race 2 –
Sunday morning brought a promise of changing weather. Got a solid launch and was in 2nd by Turn 2. Held 3rd for most of the race, but the rear tyre (already used in quali and Race 1) started giving up the fight. Coming into Rocket, the back stepped out on me. Next lap I eased it in, which opened the door for Daykin to get through. A misread blue flag from a backmarker shut down any chance of taking the place back. Crossed the line in P4 again.

Race 3 –
Started strong again, was running in 3rd and pushing to hold onto that podium. Managed a personal best ( 1:10.2) but next lap it all came undone. Low-sided at around 150mph into Rocket, and that was the end of the weekend.

The bike dug in, and cartwheeled away coming to a stop in the apex of Rocket. Frame, forks, subframe, wheels, clocks… pretty much everything got wrecked. Red flag came out, and that was that.

Big shoutout to the NLR team, marshals, and recovery crew, I walked away with just a bruised ego, a sore finger, and a bunch of bent metal. Could’ve been a lot worse.

What’s Next
The damage list is long, and with time and budget tight, it’s looking unlikely we’ll be back out for Cadwell Park on August 16–17. This could be an early end to our season, but we’ll keep you posted.

Thanks to everyone who’s supported us this far. We’ll see what’s possible.
